Jaguar and Land Rover have premiered the cars that will feature in the new James Bond movie Spectre. It celebrated their vehicles appearing in the new Bond adventure. Cars, including the Jaguar C-X75, Range Rover Sport SVR and the iconic Land Rover Defender. The models were first time unveiled at a special reception in Frankfurt to coincide with the Motor Show, with Bond stars Naomie Harris and Bautista in attendance.

One of the biggest events in the 2014 automotive calendar took place in Paris. Land Rover revealed new Discovery Sport premium midsized SUV to the press. The SUV is the first member of what Land Rover describes as the Discovery Family, sort of like the Jetsons or Bunkers but consisting of sport utility vehicles. Jaguar has launched the new XE at the Paris Motor Show. The new Jaguar XE is powered by a range of four and six-cylinder all-aluminium petrol and diesel engines, Prices still start at £27,000 and deliveries will start in May 2015.

The Jaguar XJ has been updated for the 2014 model year. It looks as light as a sports coupe. The engine range carries over unchanged, but each engine is now mated to an eight-speed automatic with an available stop/start system which Jaguar says takes less time to restart the engine than it takes for the driver to move his or her right foot from brake to gas. The 2014 XJ, available later this year from €98,950, features a range of enhanced interior features focussed on the rear cabin of the car resulting in the most accomplished Jaguar luxury saloon, according to the manufacturer.

Jaguar confirms that it will bring on sale a two-seat convertible in mid-2013. The new sports car will be named F-Type. Model will competete cars like new Porsche Boxster, the Mercedes-Benz SLK, Audi TT Roadster and BMW Z4. It will be launched as a convertible with a choice of three petrol engines, versions of Jaguar’s new supercharged 3-litre V6 and its powerhouse supercharged 5-litre V8. All derivatives will be equipped with an eight-speed transmission that will drive the rear wheels.
