The Fire Department celebrated the big anniversary with great fire parade of historic vehicles. A volunteer fire department is a fire department composed of volunteers who perform fire suppression and other related emergency services for a local jurisdiction.

Rallye Monte-Carlo is the WRC’s jewel in the crown and the oldest in the calendar. First run in 1911, it was designed to promote Monte-Carlo as a tourist destination, with competitors starting from different European cities before gathering in Monaco. A total of 90 crews, 15 in the premier World Rally Car category, started Rallye Monte-Carlo. Rallye offered unique blend of challenging stages often featuring dry asphalt, ice, snow & wet asphalt all in one stage.

Veterans Day is an official United States public holiday, observed annually on November, that honors military veterans, that is, persons who served in the United States Armed Forces. Philadelphia hosted first ever Veteran’s Day Parade. Many people in the city have long awaited a parade to honor their veterans. The parade focused on veterans throughout history as well as commemorating the 70th anniversary of the end of World War II, the 50th anniversary of Vietnam and the 25th anniversary of Desert Shield. The parade incorporated veterans groups and organizations from Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware.

The Bedfordshire Steam and Country Fayre is held at the end of September at the Old Warden Park near Biggleswade, Bedfordshire. Attracting over 20,000 visitors each year, the Bedford Steam Engine Preservation Society aims to give an insight into the country life at the turn of the 20th Century when steam was in its hey day. Many working demonstrations are taking place wherever you may care to roam on the 400 acre site.

The Cadillac Eldorado is a personal luxury car that was manufactured and marketed by Cadillac from 1953 to 2002 over ten generations. The 1967 Cadillac Eldorado is a milestone Cadillac by any standard. The knife-edged, ultra-contemporary shape was an attention-getter in 1967 – and it influences Cadillac design to this day. Although the chassis and underbody structure borrowed heavily from Oldsmobile’s year-old Toronado, the style was totally unique. Performance was 0–60 mph (0–96 km/h) in less than nine seconds and a top speed of 120 mph (192 km/h). The engine was a Cadillac, 429 c.i.d./340 h.p. V-8. Variable ratio power steering and front disc brakes gave the driver better feel through the wheel and more stopping power. Automatic level control capped an already unconventional suspension.

North American university teams have been hard at work designing and refining advanced propulsion technologies for implementation in a General Motors-donated vehicle. Their challenge is to reduce the environmental impact of a 2013 Chevrolet Malibu by improving its fuel efficiency and reducing its emissions while retaining its performance and consumer appeal. Throughout the ten days, vehicles participate in engineering test similar to those conducted by the automotive industry to determine a prototype’s readiness for production, and ultimately prove the viability of their advanced technology vehicles.

A 17bhp electric car designed to offer practical urban transport. The Renault Twizy is fun to drive in town, and gets lots of attention from passers by. The cabin is completely open to the elements, and there’s a distinct shortage of storage space, equipment and security measures. The Twizy has a maximum range of 100 km (62 mi). Prices starting at €6,990 up to €8,490. The heavy quadricycle-classed Urban 80 model features a 13 kW (17 hp) electric motor and can drive up to 80 km/h (50 mph).

Jaguar confirms that it will bring on sale a two-seat convertible in mid-2013. The new sports car will be named F-Type. Model will competete cars like new Porsche Boxster, the Mercedes-Benz SLK, Audi TT Roadster and BMW Z4. It will be launched as a convertible with a choice of three petrol engines, versions of Jaguar’s new supercharged 3-litre V6 and its powerhouse supercharged 5-litre V8. All derivatives will be equipped with an eight-speed transmission that will drive the rear wheels.

The starting price of the vehicle is $ 7,800,000. Under the bonnet beats V12 bi-turbo from Maybach 57 S 690-hp with a peak torque of 737 ft-lb. 0-62mph in 4.4 seconds with a top speed of 218mph. The Exelero also starred in the movie CLICK, the Cobra 11 series and in several commercials and music videos.

The government has launched state grants aimed at encouraging motorists to buy environmentally-friendly electric cars. Transport Secretary said nine different electric car models would be eligible for a grant of up to 5,000 pounds ( 7,930 dollars).
