Jaguar and Land Rover have premiered the cars that will feature in the new James Bond movie Spectre. It celebrated their vehicles appearing in the new Bond adventure. Cars, including the Jaguar C-X75, Range Rover Sport SVR and the iconic Land Rover Defender. The models were first time unveiled at a special reception in Frankfurt to coincide with the Motor Show, with Bond stars Naomie Harris and Bautista in attendance.

One of the biggest events in the 2014 automotive calendar took place in Paris. Land Rover revealed new Discovery Sport premium midsized SUV to the press. The SUV is the first member of what Land Rover describes as the Discovery Family, sort of like the Jetsons or Bunkers but consisting of sport utility vehicles. Jaguar has launched the new XE at the Paris Motor Show. The new Jaguar XE is powered by a range of four and six-cylinder all-aluminium petrol and diesel engines, Prices still start at £27,000 and deliveries will start in May 2015.

The rover was tested near the European Southern Observatory (ESO) in the Atacama Desert, which is one of the most Mars-like terrains on Earth. The 2018 mission of the ExoMars programme will deliver a European rover and a Russian surface platform to the surface of Mars. A Proton rocket will be used to launch the mission, which will arrive to Mars after a nine-month journey. The mission will drill 30 times deeper beneath the surface of Mars than the currently operating Curiosity rover, reaching a depth of approximately six-and-a-half feet (two meters).

The fourth generation belong to Range Rover line with its bold and latest car technology. It made its global public debut at the Paris International Motor Show. The new Range Rover will be produced in a state-of-the-art new low-energy manufacturing facility at Solihull, UK. Customers have a choice of a petrol 510PS LR-V8 Supercharged and two diesel (3.0-litre 258PS TDV6 and 4.4-litre 339PS SDV8) engines. It is 420kg lighter than the car it replaces, despite measuring 27mm longer than the current car. The luxurious interior has a modern and pure character, incorporating distinctive Range Rover design cues.

Here are some basic tips for desert driving technique, first rule is drive slow and easy and watch out for wildlife. If you try to drive too fast, you’ll damage tires, break things, second, stay on the top of, not in, the ruts. Put your vehicle in 4-wheel drive before you need it, and shift to low range early to reduce the strain on your vehicle. Range Rover did some desert testing on the Evoque to make sure it can still perform no matter how hot it really gets. Here are some pictures of it being tested in the desert.
