One of the biggest events in the 2014 automotive calendar took place in Paris. Land Rover revealed new Discovery Sport premium midsized SUV to the press. The SUV is the first member of what Land Rover describes as the Discovery Family, sort of like the Jetsons or Bunkers but consisting of sport utility vehicles. Jaguar has launched the new XE at the Paris Motor Show. The new Jaguar XE is powered by a range of four and six-cylinder all-aluminium petrol and diesel engines, Prices still start at £27,000 and deliveries will start in May 2015.

Under the mountain there is an armoury, a channel, and a service, repair and equipment base for submarines. It had been built since 1957 until 1961 by military men, who were later accompanied by specialists in underground construction. It is also an anti-radiation shelter for 3000 people. The maximum width of the rocky ground is 126 meters. The channel has a length of 505 meters, a width of 6-8.5 meters and a depth of 6-8.5 meters. In 1991 the base was closed and the last submarine left in 1996. The base was opened as museum that show the armoury and the channel, but the access to mines, torpedoes and the service, repair and equipment base remain closed for regular viewers.

Here are some basic tips for desert driving technique, first rule is drive slow and easy and watch out for wildlife. If you try to drive too fast, you’ll damage tires, break things, second, stay on the top of, not in, the ruts. Put your vehicle in 4-wheel drive before you need it, and shift to low range early to reduce the strain on your vehicle.
