The New York International Auto Show is an annual auto show that is held in Manhattan in April. The biggest automotive show on the East Coast at the Jacob Javits Convention Center with the 2019 event took place from April 17-18 for members of the press, and from April 19 through 28 for the public. From a $4 million Bugatti to a hypercar that can hit 300 mph, this year\’s New York Auto Show had plenty to dazzle. New conceps, crossovers, sports car were everywhere at the 2017 Los Angeles Auto Show – many of them revealed for the first time in North America and some for the first time in the world. Although the concepts at the show represented a glimpse into the future of the automotive industry, more-production-ready vehicles gave the public a chance to see what\’s soon headed to their dealers’ showrooms. Automakers such as Audi, BMW, General Motors, Hyundai, Infiniti, Jaguar Land Rover, Jeep, Lexus, Lincoln, Mercedes-Benz, Toyota and Volvo all had something new on display. One of the world’s largest auto shows will return again in 2018 from November 30 – December 9 at the LA Convention Center.

The Auto & Technik Museum Sinsheim is a technology museum opened in 1981 in Sinsheim, Germany. It is situated directly along the Autobahn A6 (exit 33 Sinsheim or exit 34 Sinsheim-Steinsfurt) between the cities of Mannheim and Heilbronn. Museum is packed with a giant collection of cars, aircraft and military hardware. The USSR is well represented with the Tupolev Tu-144 also known as the Soviet Concorde as absolute highlight of the exhibition. The only Tu-144 on display outside Russia is placed on the roof of the museum building together with the Concorde and is open to walk in for visitors.

The Chicago Auto Show, which began in 1901, is the largest auto show in North America. It has been held more times than any other auto show on the continent, staging its 108th show this year. Nearly 1,000 different vehicles are on display at this year’s Chicago Auto Show. The show runs from Feb. 13-21 and opens at 9 a.m. each day.

One of the biggest events in the 2014 automotive calendar took place in Paris. Land Rover revealed new Discovery Sport premium midsized SUV to the press. The SUV is the first member of what Land Rover describes as the Discovery Family, sort of like the Jetsons or Bunkers but consisting of sport utility vehicles. Jaguar has launched the new XE at the Paris Motor Show. The new Jaguar XE is powered by a range of four and six-cylinder all-aluminium petrol and diesel engines, Prices still start at £27,000 and deliveries will start in May 2015.

Here are some basic tips for desert driving technique, first rule is drive slow and easy and watch out for wildlife. If you try to drive too fast, you’ll damage tires, break things, second, stay on the top of, not in, the ruts. Put your vehicle in 4-wheel drive before you need it, and shift to low range early to reduce the strain on your vehicle. Range Rover did some desert testing on the Evoque to make sure it can still perform no matter how hot it really gets. Here are some pictures of it being tested in the desert.

Ford introduced a new Fusion, the next generation of more expressive vehicles. It is the first sedan that offers gasoline, hybrid and plug-in hybrid motor. The 2013 Fusion also will come with such key technologies as lane keeping, adaptive cruise control, active park assist, blind-spot information and the revamped MyFord Touch system. Ford said Fusion’s 1.6-liter EcoBoost engine will deliver 26 mpg in city driving and 37 mpg on the highway, while the Fusion Hybrid, with a new 2.0-liter gasoline engine and a lithium-ion battery pack, will return 47 mpg in the city and 44 mpg on the highway. Ford Americas President Mark Fields said that it will have a base price close to the current Fusion, which starts at $20,200.

The Karma use a plug-in hybrid technology – called Q DRIVE – developed by Quantum Technologies, which will serve as a basis for all future models from Fisker. The main idea of the Q DRIVE system is that a small gasoline engine turns the car generator, which charges the lithium ion batteries, powering the electric motor and driving the rear wheels.

The 1750cc, direct-injection turbo four from the Giulietta QV mounted amidship drives over 200 horsepower via Alfa’s TCT dual-clutch transmission to the rear wheels. So, we have a car with an extremely high fun factor. Alfa 4C could lead the company’s long-awaited return to the North American market.
