The NEC Classic Motor Show Sale took place on Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th November 2016 at the NEC, Birmingham. With over 2,000 classic cars, 300 motorcycles, 600 trade stands, it is the UK’s biggest and best classic motoring show of the year!

A day of pedal powered racing around the closed streets of Ringwood town centre The 15,000 spectators and more than 60 teams of drivers flocked into the town to be a part two-hour endurance races. The cars are mainly sports prototypes built by or for the teams that race them.

The show offer a great variety of cars and some other automobile items. With more than 1,250 exhibitors from over 30 nations, displaying 2,500 cars across 20 exhibition halls is the largest classic car show in the world.

The exhibition will be presented on the National Mall between the National Gallery of Art and the National Air & Space Museum. DC will feature two iconic presidential automobiles. President Taft’s 1909 Steam car will be on display from April 14 –19 and President Reagan’s 1962 Willys ‘Jeep’ CJ-6 will be on display from April 20 – 26. The event is free and open to the general public.

Rallye Monte-Carlo is the WRC’s jewel in the crown and the oldest in the calendar. First run in 1911, it was designed to promote Monte-Carlo as a tourist destination, with competitors starting from different European cities before gathering in Monaco. A total of 90 crews, 15 in the premier World Rally Car category, started Rallye Monte-Carlo. Rallye offered unique blend of challenging stages often featuring dry asphalt, ice, snow & wet asphalt all in one stage.

The Cadillac Eldorado is a personal luxury car that was manufactured and marketed by Cadillac from 1953 to 2002 over ten generations. The 1967 Cadillac Eldorado is a milestone Cadillac by any standard. The knife-edged, ultra-contemporary shape was an attention-getter in 1967 – and it influences Cadillac design to this day. Although the chassis and underbody structure borrowed heavily from Oldsmobile’s year-old Toronado, the style was totally unique. Performance was 0–60 mph (0–96 km/h) in less than nine seconds and a top speed of 120 mph (192 km/h). The engine was a Cadillac, 429 c.i.d./340 h.p. V-8. Variable ratio power steering and front disc brakes gave the driver better feel through the wheel and more stopping power. Automatic level control capped an already unconventional suspension.

It’s no secret that when you say the words ‘car insurance’ you’re bound to get a negative reaction from most people – unless of course they sell car insurance. Then their face is likely to light up brighter than this year‘s Christmas tree… whoops, I mean holiday tree. Whether you consider yourself a frugal family man, a smart and savvy shopper or just somebody that wants to try to save a buck here and there you would be well advised to shop around before plunking down a serious amount of cash on your next automobile insurance policy. Don’t forget that paying once a year is also going to save you money on your car insurance as opposed to paying a little every month. It may seem like it’s less coming out of your pocket at the time but in reality you pay for that convenience.

Emirates Air Line is a gondola lift cable car link across the River Thames in London. From North Greenwich to the Royal Docks, opened on the 28 June 2012. One way ticket costs £3.60 on an Oyster card or £16 for 10 journeys. The Thames cable car operates from 7am-9pm Monday to Friday, 8am-9pm Saturday and 9am-9pm Sunday. Drive takes five minutes. The cable cars rise almost 300 feet. The cable car has the capacity to carry up to 2,500 people an hour in each direction, in one of 34 cabins. Passengers get a view of City, Canary Wharf, historic Greenwich, the Thames Barrier and the Olympic Park.

The 2011 Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000 was an Australian touring car motor race for V8 Supercars. The race was at the Mount Panorama Circuit just outside Bathurst, New South Wales, Australia. It is a 1000 kilometre (620 miles) race. The race was traditionally run on the first Sunday in October but is now held on the second Sunday. The race traces its lineage to the 1960 Armstrong 500.

Carhenge is a very odd structure located in the sand hills of western Nebraska. It is a beautifully done replica of Stonehenge, Americanized by using cars that have been spray-painted grey to give off the impression they are made of stone. It attracts 100,000 visitors each year. The original sculpture was created in June, 1987 as a memorial to Jim Reinders’ father who once lived on the farm where Carhenge stands.
