The country’s 10th national park, Montana’s Glacier preserves 1 million acres of glacier-carved peaks and valleys, pristine turquoise lakes and streams, and dense ancient forests for all to enjoy. Glacier National Park is a part of the world’s first international peace park. The vision for a park was to celebrate peace and friendship between the United States and Canada. Glacier has welcomed over 100 million visitors to the park. The park’s annual visitation has been rising over the past five years, hitting a record high of 2,946,681 in 2016.

New conceps, crossovers, sports car were everywhere at the 2017 Los Angeles Auto Show – many of them revealed for the first time in North America and some for the first time in the world. Although the concepts at the show represented a glimpse into the future of the automotive industry, more-production-ready vehicles gave the public a chance to see what\’s soon headed to their dealers’ showrooms. Automakers such as Audi, BMW, General Motors, Hyundai, Infiniti, Jaguar Land Rover, Jeep, Lexus, Lincoln, Mercedes-Benz, Toyota and Volvo all had something new on display. One of the world’s largest auto shows will return again in 2018 from November 30 – December 9 at the LA Convention Center.

The New York Comic Con is an annual New York City fan convention dedicated to comics, graphic novels, anime, video games, toys, movies, and television. New York Comic Con is the second largest pop culture convention in America and the only one that takes place in the comic book, publishing, media, and licensing capital of the world — Gotham City. James Newell Osterberg Jr. known professionally by his stage name Iggy Pop, is an American singer, songwriter, musician, producer and actor. Iggy Pop grew up in a trailer park in the college town of Ann Arbor, Michigan. As a teenager, the disenchanted Pop played drums in a garage band called the lguanas, and after dropping out of the University of Michigan, in a blues band called the Prime Movers. Pop then joined brothers Ron and Scott Asheton, who played guitar and drums respectively, and bassist Dave Alexander to form the Stooges. He is known for songs from both his time with The Stooges like “I Wanna Be Your Dog” and “Shake Appeal,” as well as solo tracks like “Lust for Life” and “The Passenger.” He married Wendy Weissberg in 1968 but they got an annulment later that year. He was married to Suchi Asano from 1985 to 1999 and in 2008 he married Nina Alu. He has a son named Eric. Iggy Pop is 70 years old.

The Vietnam Motor Show 2017 took place August 1-5 at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Centre in Ho Chi Minh City. The 13th annual motor show attended by 12 automakers, mainly members of the Vietnam Automobile Manufacturers Association (VAMA), including Chevrolet, Ford, Do Thanh, FUSO, Honda, Isuzu, Lexus, Mercedes-Benz, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Suzuki and Toyota. Toyota presented at VMS 2017 the newest auto models which make consumers feel convenient, comfortable and safe thanks to advanced technology and innovation in the auto industry.

The Grand Départ of the world’s best known cycle race, the Tour de France, took place in 2017 in the North Rhine-Westphalian capital of Düsseldorf. Over three weeks, riders will tackle 21 stages, with 53 leg-burning climbs, covering 3,540 kilometres across Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg and France. There are 198 riders in 22 teams this year.

Parade the Circle, which began as a community-outreach experiment by the art museum in 1990 to mark its 75th anniversary, has grown to become one of Cleveland’s biggest annual events. For more than a quarter of a century, Parade the Circle has signaled the arrival of summer in Northeast Ohio. International and national guest artists joined Greater Cleveland artists, families, schools, and community groups in a spectacular display of bright costumes, giant puppets, stilt-dancers, handmade masks, and colorful floats.
