The attraction, which took three years to build, is on Hengqin Island, near Macao, and features seven theme areas, each representing a part of the ocean, as well as rides, hotels, a 5D cinema and a circus. It cost a reported US$5 billion to build. It features the world’s biggest aquarium. It showcases what it claims is the world’s longest roller coaster. And it boasts a massive collection of whales, sharks and animals rarely, if ever, seen in captivity in China. A 1000-metre Grand Canal connects the hotel to the Ocean Kingdom, and guests can take water taxis which run in between. Owned by the Chime-Long Group, which runs China’s biggest theme park Chime-Long Paradise, in Guangzhou. Ocean Kingdom is about twice the size of Hong Kong’s Ocean Park and three times the size of the city’s Disneyland.

The Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta is a yearly festival of hot air balloons that takes place in Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA during early October. The Balloon Fiesta is a nine day event, and has over 500 balloons each year. The event is the largest hot air balloon festival in the world. The azure skies above the verdant Rio Grande Valley became a surreal canvas of color during the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta. This year’s festival drew pilots from 22 countries around the world.

The Victoria Falls lie in between Zambia and Zimbabwe in Southern Africa. The falls are part of two national parks, Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park in Zambia and Victoria Falls National Park in Zimbabwe. The waterfall is among the biggest, and most awe-inspiring, on the planet. The Zambezi River is more than 1.25 miles (2 kilometers) wide when it cascades over the lip of a large basalt plateau and plunges as much as 354 feet (108 meters). Its roar can be heard from 40 kilometers away, while the spray and mist from the falling water rises up to 400 meters and is visible from the distance of 50 kilometers.

Salar de Uyuni is covering 10,582 square kilometers in the Potosi region. The salt is over 10 meters thick in the center. Some 40.000 years ago, the area was part of Lake Minchin, a giant prehistoric lake. When the lake dried, it left behind two modern lakes, Poopó and Uru Uru, and two major salt deserts, Salar de Coipasa and the larger Salar de Uyuni. It is one of the landscapes on planet Earth where you may feel that you are somewhere else in the universe entirely. At the edge of Salar de Uyuni is located salt hotel called Palce of Salt. It is built of salt blocks.

The Guinness Book of Records has named the vast pool beside the sea in Chile as the biggest in the world. The pool is 1 km (0.62 mi) long, covering 8 ha (20 acres), containing some 250,000,000 litres of seawater, with a maximum depth of 35 m (115 ft). It uses water pumped, filtered, and treated from the Pacific Ocean. The pool was developed by Chilean company Crystal Lagoons, and opened in December 2006. While early estimates put the total cost of construction at about US$3.5 million for the filtration system alone, more recent estimates are in the area of US$1.5 billion to US$2 billion total for construction and almost US$4 million in annual maintenance. Chile\’s monster pool uses a computer-controlled suction and filtration system to keep fresh seawater in permanent circulation, drawing it in from the ocean at one end and pumping it out at the other. The sun warms the water to 26c, nine degrees warmer than the adjoining sea.

Fontainebleau is the only royal and imperial château With over 1500 rooms at the heart of 130 acres of parkland and gardens, It is located 55 kilometres from the centre of Paris. The château houses a superb collection of paintings, stucco motives, carved wood and furniture. Many visitors come here for horseback riding and hiking, and it’s a perfect spot for an afternoon picnic. if you have a Paris Museum Pass, you can get into the monument for free. The boat used 537 sq.m of photovoltaic solar panels, which deliver power to an electric motor. PlanetSolar is the first vehicle to have successfully achieved the feat of traveling around the world using solar energy alone, all powered by the sun. The ship sailed for 585 days without fuel to show the potential of solar energy.

The Royal Ontario Museum aka “The ROM” is an incredible museum that all visitors to Toronto must see. The Exibits are all fantastic and amazing! There is definitely something for everyone here. Permanent exhibit of dinosaurs including tyrannosaurus, parasaurolophus and triceratops. The museum is situated north of Queen’s Park and east of Philosopher’s Walk in the University of Toronto.
