The Los Angeles Zoo and Botanical Gardens is a 133-acre zoo founded in 1966 and located in Los Angeles, California. The city of Los Angeles owns the entire zoo. The Zoo is home to more than 1,100 mammals, birds, amphibians and reptiles representing more than 250 different species of which 29 are endangered. In addition, the Zoo’s botanical collection comprises several planted gardens and over 800 different plant species with over 7,400 individual plants. The Zoo receives over 1.5 million visitors per year

Thousands of L.A. Kings fans celebrated the hockey team’s nail-biting victory for the Stanley Cup Championship for the second time in three seasons with a parade and rally downtown Monday.

The Hollywood walk of fame is so much longer than I thought. The Walk is devided in two sections. It runs 1.3 miles (2.1 km) east to west on Hollywood Boulevard plus a short segment along Vine Street 0.4 miles (0.7 km). It bearing the names of an actors, musicians, directors, producers, musical and others. Walk consists of 2,466 stars.
