The Consumer Electronics Show (aka CES) is one of the largest technology trade shows in the world. Taking place every January in Las Vegas, Nevada, CES is chock-full of interesting gadgets, toys, drones, and much more. It is the event to follow for all the latest news and announcements from the tech world. Hundreds of major and emerging brands presented on the show floor, and visitors had the opportunity to be among the first to test their latest products.

Every year the Vancouver Zombie Walk grows bigger, with more participants of all ages, ever more creative costumes and levels of GORE, and more huge quantities of blood-soaked fun every single time. The Walking Dead became a real-life. Zombies terrorized the streets in costumes to pose as the living dead. The meeting point and Zombie Walk route was the same as in past years – Art Gallery.

The houses are all built on the side of a mountain, with these ones being more secure than the other side because they are built on top of stone instead of dirt, so they are less likely to suffer from mudslides It is estimated that the current population of Rocinha is around 150 thousand, maybe 300 thousand. There are internet cafes, hair salons where you could get manicures and pedicures, movie and dvd rental places and at one point they even had a McDonalds.

Miniatur Wunderland can not be explored in a few of minutes. You need to come early in the morning and leave in the very last minute. It is a permanent exhibition that attracts over a million visitors a year. This model railway took 500,000 working hours and is stretched over 4 square km with plans to increase to 6 square km in 2014. The model rail track runs for 9km at a cost of 7.3 million Euros.

The whale shark is a non-aggressive creature that poses no threat to swimmers, snorkelers or scuba divers. The largest confirmed individual had a length of 12.65 metres (41.50 ft) and a weight of more than 21.5 tonnes (47,000 lb). The shark has distinctive light-yellow markings on its very thick, dark gray skin. It is a filter feeder and can neither bite nor chew. These feeder eat plankton, krill, fish eggs, small fish, salp, jellyfish and coral spawn. Although its mouth can stretch to four feet wide, Whale sharks are slow swimmers, moving at speeds of no little more than 3 miles per hour.
