Veterans Day is an official United States public holiday, observed annually on November, that honors military veterans, that is, persons who served in the United States Armed Forces. Philadelphia hosted first ever Veteran’s Day Parade. Many people in the city have long awaited a parade to honor their veterans. The parade focused on veterans throughout history as well as commemorating the 70th anniversary of the end of World War II, the 50th anniversary of Vietnam and the 25th anniversary of Desert Shield. The parade incorporated veterans groups and organizations from Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware.

The 2015 championship season came to a close with the 69th World Pipe Band Championships in Glasgow. The Big Hoot has brought businesses, artists, schools and the local community together to create a public art trail of stunning owl sculptures on display across Birmingham from 20 July until 27 September. The best way to see amazing owls is to follow the trail around the city and see how many you can spot. In October the owls will be auctioned to raise money for Birmingham Children’s Hospital.

The first July Fair was held in Valencia in Valencia in 1871 and lasted for just few days in 2015. More than a million marigolds fly through the air at the traditional Battle of the Flowers. Elaborately decorated floats pass up and down the Paseo de la Alameda in the city centre, as crowds throw flowers at their occupants. They in turn attempt to defend themselves with tennis rackets and other improvised shields , whilst returning fire with more orange and yellow blossoms.

Turku Airshow 2015 was the main airshow event in Finland 2015. Airshow was organized by Turku Flying Club with support from Finnish Air Force and Finnish Aeronautical Association. The skies above Turku showcased equipment from Sweden, Norway, the United States, the Czech Republic, Latvia, Germany and Turkey, among other countries. There were six display teams all together; Turkish Stars, Midnight Hawks, Baltic Bees, Yellow Sparrows, Arctic Eagles and Team Tuulia.
