Veterans Day is an official United States public holiday, observed annually on November, that honors military veterans, that is, persons who served in the United States Armed Forces. Philadelphia hosted first ever Veteran’s Day Parade. Many people in the city have long awaited a parade to honor their veterans. The parade focused on veterans throughout history as well as commemorating the 70th anniversary of the end of World War II, the 50th anniversary of Vietnam and the 25th anniversary of Desert Shield. The parade incorporated veterans groups and organizations from Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware.

The International Day against Nuclear Tests is observed on August 29. It was established on December 2, 2009 at the 64th session of the United Nations General Assembly by the resolution 64/35. Since nuclear weapons testing began in the mid-twentieth century, with the first test on 16 July 1945, nearly 2,000 have taken place. The International Day Against Nuclear Tests aims to raise public awareness about the effects of global nuclear weapon tests, and advocates the banning of nuclear tests as a step to achieving a safer world. To mark this year’s International Day Against Nuclear Tests, an exhibition of art related to nuclear testing and nuclear weapons by artists from Austria, China, Kazakhstan, and the United States was on display at the Vienna International Centre.

The World Pipe Band Championships is a pipe band competition currently held in Glasgow, Scotland every August. The event has been operating regularly since 1930. The 2015 championship season came to a close with the 69th World Pipe Band Championships in Glasgow. After two days of competition and four performances, sixteen adjudicators crowned Shotts and Dykehead Caledonia from Scotland Grade 1 World Champions.

The 89 owl sculptures have appeared in Birmingham. Each owl sculpture is 5ft 5ins tall. The Big Hoot has brought businesses, artists, schools and the local community together to create a public art trail of stunning owl sculptures on display across Birmingham from 20 July until 27 September. The best way to see amazing owls is to follow the trail around the city and see how many you can spot. In October the owls will be auctioned to raise money for Birmingham Children’s Hospital.

Brussels is quickly gaining a reputation as city with its small town charm, trendy bars and restaurants, fabulous food, great nightlife, fantastic shopping, numerous museums, and other attractions. No trip to Brussels is complete without sampling the world-class chocolate for which Belgium is known. In a country with more than 2,000 chocolate shops, this is an easy mission to accomplish. The first July Fair was held in Valencia in Valencia in 1871 and lasted for just few days in 2015. More than a million marigolds fly through the air at the traditional Battle of the Flowers. Elaborately decorated floats pass up and down the Paseo de la Alameda in the city centre, as crowds throw flowers at their occupants. They in turn attempt to defend themselves with tennis rackets and other improvised shields , whilst returning fire with more orange and yellow blossoms.

The 2015 Tour de France is the 102nd edition of the Tour de France. It started in Utrecht, the Netherlands, on 4 July 2015. The race then visits Belgium and then follows a route across France in an anti-clockwise direction, concluding on the Champs-Élysées in Paris, on the 26 July.

Paolo Andreucci and Anna Andreussi, Peugeot 208 T16 R5, are the winners of the 43rd San Marino Rally, race organized by F.A.M.S. and valid as fifth round of the Italian Rally Championship and fourth of the Gravel Trophy. The driver from Tuscany obtained the final victory at the end of the two racing days, leading Simone Campedelli and Danilo Fappani, Peugeot 207 S2000 with an advantage of 26.9s.

Spielberg is a genuine amusement park, with the legendary Red Bull Ring at its centre. The 4.3-kilometre circuit is categorized “Grade A” by the Fèdèration Internationale de l’Automative (FIA), hosted the Austrian Grand Prix from 1996 to 2003 and can be split in to two separate tracks: north and south. Formula One returned to the circuit in the 2014 season. This year, Nico Rosberg won in Austrian Grand Prix and reignited the Formula One title battle.

Turku Airshow 2015 was the main airshow event in Finland 2015. Airshow was organized by Turku Flying Club with support from Finnish Air Force and Finnish Aeronautical Association. The skies above Turku showcased equipment from Sweden, Norway, the United States, the Czech Republic, Latvia, Germany and Turkey, among other countries. There were six display teams all together; Turkish Stars, Midnight Hawks, Baltic Bees, Yellow Sparrows, Arctic Eagles and Team Tuulia. Never before in Finland have six teams performed in same airshow.

Xixili presented their lastest collection on 26th May 2015 at Black Box MAP, Publika Solaris Dutamas. This is annual event which xixili only held once a year for all business partners and retailers. This year theme was the wilderness and night ambiance music playing in the background.
