The view of Las Vegas has changed with the world’s largest, tallest observation wheel, the High Roller at the LINQ. It is a 550-foot tall and 520-foot diameter giant Ferris wheel on the Las Vegas Strip. It was opened to the public on March 31, 2014, and is the world’s tallest Ferris wheel. It holds 40 passengers in each of 28 pods. The price of a High Roller ride is just too expensive. A basic daytime ticket originally ( 30-minute ride, the time taken for the entire wheel to rotate once) cost $24.95, and a ride after 6 p.m. runs $10 more. Kids 12y and under are free with a paying adult.
