The 1600 papier mache pandas, created by French artist Paulo Grangeon, are seen displayed as part of an exhibition called “Pandas on Tour”. The event will also showcase 200 Formosan black bears – an endangered animal indigenous to Taiwan. It is hoped that the pandas will help to raise local awareness on animal conservation. After the exhibition, the art works will be put into a charity bazaar to raise funds for local wildlife protection organizations.
