Happisburgh is a historic village on the north-east coast of Norfolk. It is well-known for its wonderful sandy and quite secluded beach. You can walk for miles on this beach, as far as Sea Palling if you wanted to. At the end of the south beach you reach Cart Gap, which is where the lifeboat is now stationed, having previously been at Happisburgh beach before all the coastal erosion.

The lifeguard towers of Miami Beach are famous in a town of famous architecture. The South Beach lifeguard stations are working stations and each is a beautifully crafted work of art. There are now 31 Lifeguard Towers just along the coastline of Miami Beach from the very tip at South Pointe Park up to 87th Street.

Utah Beach was the code name for one of the five sectors of the Allied invasion of German-occupied France in the Normandy landings during World War II. The museum boasts more than 3000m2 of exhibition space. The museum traces the German occupation, the forces on the eve of D-Day, the Allied strategy and conduct of June 6, 1944 in Utah Beach.

Navagio is one of the most beautiful beaches in Greece. It is located on the north-west shore of the stunning Zakynthos Island. Navagio is said to be the home of a famous ship wreck, called Panagiotis, which is why the beach is also called Smugglers Cove. The small beach has amazing, white, soft sand and crystal clear waters and is defined by huge vertical limestone cliffs. The best season to visit the spot is from May to late September, but before you do, check out the weather and wind conditions in the area. The island drops into the Mediterranean climate zone. The winter is mild, the temperature is warm in spring and autumn, and it reaches 24 to 31 °C in summer.

The Mastiff is the classic gentle giant, loving but sometimes stubborn. He is considered the largest breed in the world and can weigh 220 pounds or more. The Mastiff is a breed of dog that originated in Tibet. There are over 14 different breeds of mastiff, which are all unique in their own ways. The Neapolitan Mastiff were originally bred as war dogs and make for decent family guard dogs. These dogs have think hanging wrinkles and folds of skin around their face. The Neapolitan Mastiff is not a breed for everyone. This breed looks a bit intimidating, but is actually affectionate, calm, peaceful and loving. They enjoy family and friends.

Lighthouses came into existence because ships could not see the rocks and other dangers in the water. A lighthouse is a building or other type of construction designed to emit light from a system of lamps and lenses or, in older times, from a fire and used as an aid to navigation. The most widely used materials are masonry, brick, concrete and steel. The first known lighthouse, the Pharos of Alexandria, Egypt, was completed about 280 B.C. It stood more than 350 feet tall until an earthquake destroyed it in the 1300s.

The Golden Gate Bridge is considered as one of the world’s most beautiful bridges with its tremendous towers, sweeping main cables and great span. The Golden Gate Bridge was the longest suspension bridge span in the world when it was completed in 1937. It is a 4,200 foot suspension bridge that connects the south shore of Marin County with the northern tip the San Francisco peninsula and San Francisco County. The bridge is 90 feet wide and the height of the bridge is 220 feet. The bridge is open to auto and bicycle traffic for 24 hours, pedestrians only during daylight hours. It is powerful and elegant human structure in an equally beautiful natural location.
