The Mastiff is the classic gentle giant, loving but sometimes stubborn. He is considered the largest breed in the world and can weigh 220 pounds or more. The Mastiff is a breed of dog that originated in Tibet. There are over 14 different breeds of mastiff, which are all unique in their own ways. The Neapolitan Mastiff were originally bred as war dogs and make for decent family guard dogs. These dogs have think hanging wrinkles and folds of skin around their face. The Neapolitan Mastiff is not a breed for everyone. This breed looks a bit intimidating, but is actually affectionate, calm, peaceful and loving. They enjoy family and friends.
