Moilinere Bay is known for underwater sculptures, covering an area of 800sq metres. It is located two miles north of the capital St Georges on the west coast of the island. Park and the statues are created by Jason deCaires Taylor. The sculptures are sited in clear shallow waters to afford easy access by divers, snorkellers and those in glass-bottomed boats.

Maho Beach – The place where the planes take off and blow you away. Maho Beach is a beach situated in Saint Maarten, on the Dutch side of the island. The location is known worldwide because of the Princess Juliana International Airport that is situated immediately adjacent to the beach. People standing on the beach may also be blown into the water because of the jet blast from aircraft taking off from runway 10. The beach can also experience large waves which makes it popular with windsurfers and skimboarders.
