Throughout York’s city centre, a series of hand-carved ice sculptures pop up around the city with some incredible designs. The 2019 trail covers 50 sculptures depicting myths and legends across York. It’s the biggest outdoor ice trail in Britain. Sponsored by the York BID and organised by Make It York.

The Oor Wullie Bucket Trail is a huge public art event running from 27 June to 27 August. Over 50 5ft tall sculptures in various guises of “Oor Wullie” were distributed to locations around Dundee & surrounds. The statues will be displayed for the next ten weeks before being auctioned to raise funds for the Tayside Children’s Hospital Appeal.

The Bald Eagle Mountain Megatransect is a 26+ mile/hike and trail run event staged in Central Pennsylvania. The outstandingly beautiful course offers unique geologic features, such as an unrelenting boulder field of white Tuscarora sandstone. Cliffs line a scenic gorge to heights of 300 feet that sink from the Chestnut flat plateau. Trails run along miles of streams and brooks with multiple stream crossings and small waterfalls.

The Megatransect is a trail run event staged in Central Pennsylvania. The 25 Mile supported ultra hike took place in Bald Eagle Mountain. The course is designed to challenge any trained or seasoned athlete. Trail focuses on the safety and needs of all entrants. Competitors are subjected to unrelenting climbs and down hills with total vertical gains over 5000 feet.

Losee Canyon is a 6 mile out and back trail located near Panguitch, Utah and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for hiking and is accessible from April until October. The trail follows the canyon floor, winding through the red hoodoos and the many colored sandstone cliffs up to the higher elevations of the Red Canyon area. It\’s a multi-use trail open to bicyclists, horses and hikers. The trail also crosses the stream many times. This trail connects with the Cassidy trail.
