The town of Las Médulas is located in the region of El Bierzo, Leon. This small mountain town marks the natural beginning of the ascent towards Las Médulas, a unique cultural landscape that was declared a World Heritage by UNESCO. It is a historic mining site near the town of Ponferrada in the region of El Bierzo, which used to be the most important gold mine in the Roman Empire. To extract gold, the Romans built seven huge aqueducts which drew the rivers in the nearby mountains down into the mine, burying the area underwater. After two centuries of work, the Romans abandoned the site, leaving it in its current shape.

The Red Bull Air Races began in 2003 and became the fastest and most exhilarating motorsport on the planet. Fourteen of the worlds best and most daring pilots compete in eight races which are located all around the world. The famous Red Bull Ring in Spielberg hosted a third instalment of the Red Bull Air Race in 2016. The Red Bull Ring formally the A1 Ring the venue sits within the Styrian Mountain’s and offers a stunning backdrop to the action packed event. The track is known for its rich history and challenges for drivers as well as pilots.

Navagio is one of the most beautiful beaches in Greece. It is located on the north-west shore of the stunning Zakynthos Island. Navagio is said to be the home of a famous ship wreck, called Panagiotis, which is why the beach is also called Smugglers Cove. The small beach has amazing, white, soft sand and crystal clear waters and is defined by huge vertical limestone cliffs. The best season to visit the spot is from May to late September, but before you do, check out the weather and wind conditions in the area. The island drops into the Mediterranean climate zone. The winter is mild, the temperature is warm in spring and autumn, and it reaches 24 to 31 °C in summer.

Rocamadour is located about 100 miles north of Toulouse, It is a popular destination for pilgrims and tourists. It attracts 1.5 million visitors each year. It is built on the site of a shrine to a Madonna, the shrine became famous for its healing powers, and soon became a stop on the pilgrimage path to Santiago de Campostela. The village is essentially just one paved street, lined with medieval houses, several of which are notable and many of which are impressive, and passing through stone fortified gateways – the Porte du Figuier and the Porte Salmon are the two main gateways. The buildings of Rocamadour rise in stages up the side of a cliff on the right bank of the Alzou, which here runs between rocky walls 120 metres (390 ft) in height.

Grand Teton National Park is located in northwestern Wyoming just south of Yellowstone National Park and just north of the town of Jackson. It is very popular for climbers, hikers and photographers. The area is spectacular. The words cannot describe its beauty. The people are very friendly and helpfull at any visitor center. The peaks of the Teton Range stand nearly 7,000 feet (2,135 meters) above the valley floor. The park also contains a number of beautiful lakes which lie at the foot of the mountains, such as Leigh Lake. The park includes 485 square miles (1,256 square kilometers) of both the Teton Range and Jackson Hole.
