The light show paired with music inside of a former rock quarry. The limestone quarry in itself is interesting – add the creative video and audio presentation and you have a unique experience. The projected exhibition is renewed each year with a different theme. This year is Picasso.

Charlie Hebdo is a French satirical weekly magazine that was the target of terrorist attacks in response to its controversial cartoons. The most recent attack in January of 2015 left 12 Charlie Hebdo staff members dead.

This year theme for the Gaylord Palms ICE was Merry Madagascar. Santa claus has also come to town. 2 million pounds of ice were carved by artisans from Harban, China to create a beautiful exhibit that includes scenes of Madagascar movie. Wonderland of exciting hand-carved sculptures covers over 20,000 square-feet. The sculptures are brilliantly carved, colored and the best scenes from the movie are fleshed out in ice.

The National Museum of the United States Air Force is the official museum of the United States Air Force located at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base 6 miles (9.7 km) northeast of Dayton, Ohio. Memorable moments are captured in the museum’s World War II Gallery, which houses one of the world’s top collections of WWII aircraft. The gallery captures the pivotal moments, campaigns and figures of U.S. Army Air Forces’ air power in both the Pacific and European Theaters.

Hours:
The museum is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. seven days a week. The museum is closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day.

Adam Parker Smith’s first solo exhibition in New York City. It was inspired by the execution scene in Hemingway’s For Whom the Bell Tolls. The heads are impaled on stakes or lying on the ground which is strewn with roses. As guilt, fascination and loyalty encroach, flawless heroines confront heart ache, fools distinguish beauty from the grotesque and the wretched mourn the loss of irreproachable purity.

Faberges works were very expensive. The original pre Bolshevik revolution eggs sell for millions of pounds. The eggs represents a imperial Russia. Tsar Alexander asked Faberge to create an egg each year and his son, the future Tsar Nicholas II., increased order to two eggs a year, one for his wife and one for the mother. The eggs are made of precious metals or hard stones decorated with combinations of enamel and gem stones. The term “Fabergé Egg” has become a synonym of luxury. The largest Fabergé collection outside of Russia is at the Virginia Museum of Fine Art in Richmond, VA.
