The TECHNIK MUSEUM SPEYER is situated at the Autobahn A61 near Heidelberg, one hour south of Frankfurt airport! The museum was opened in 1991 as a sister museum of the Sinsheim Auto & Technik Museum and is run by a registered alliance called Auto & Technik Museum Sinsheim e.V..Vehicles and other technology are the focus of Technik Museum Speyer. This museum’s large collection includes aircrafts, classic cars, motorcycles, locomotives, and fire engines.

The famous F1 team sponsor has also put its name to soapbox racing. Red Bull Soapbox Race is an international event in which amateur drivers race homemade soapbox vehicles. Racers compete against the clock in a downhill race. Each hand-made machine is fuelled by nothing but sheer courage, the force of gravity and perhaps a little Red Bull.

Water highway over the Elba river connects the Elbe-Havel Canal to the Mittelland Canal.
