A day of pedal powered racing around the closed streets of Ringwood town centre The 15,000 spectators and more than 60 teams of drivers flocked into the town to be a part two-hour endurance races. The cars are mainly sports prototypes built by or for the teams that race them.

The British Grand Prix is a race in the calendar of the FIA Formula One World Championship. It is currently held at the Silverstone Circuit in Northamptonshire in England. Silverstone offers some of the most difficult racing conditions so far this year. Victory of Lewis Hamilton made him the first driver to win three consecutive Grands Prix at the circuit.

The British Cycling National Road Race Championships (NRRC) took place in Glasgow from 20 to 23 June 2013. The 2013 British Cycling National Road Race Championships covers many of the world’s best elite riders. The events featured a star-studded line-up headed by 2012 champions Sharon Laws, Ian Stannard and Alex Dowsett. Tour de France stage winner Mark Cavendish, Olympic and World champion Laura Trott, 5-time World champion Ed Clancy, Olympic silver medallist Lizzie Armitstead There were fully closed roads for the duration of the event, which takes in iconic locations such as Sauciehall Street and the Kelvingrove Park.

The British Wildlife Centre is a wildlife park in the Sussex countryside with a very good collection of native British wildlife. The place is not enormous, but is stuffed with all sorts of wildlife. It is a good education and photographic opportunity to see animals many of us don’t usually see. The British Wildlife Centre opens every weekend and public holiday from March to the end of October and during state school holidays throughout the year.
