All of this wilderness is located in New Mexico and is managed by the Bureau of Land Management. De-Na-Zin Wilderness Area is a remote, high desert region of colorful, low relief badlands, split by many branched dry washes and containing innumerable eroded rock formations, fossils and pieces of petrified wood, including complete trunks up to 100 feet long. The unusual and ever changing scenery is a product of time and the natural elements. There are two major geological formations found in the wilderness, the Fruitland Formation and the Kirtland Shale. The Fruitland Formation makes up most of what the visitor will see while in the badlands where weathering of the sandstone forms the many spires and hoodoos (sculpted rock) found throughout the area. The Kirtland Shale contains rock of various colors and dominates the eastern part of the wilderness.

The city of Ålesund is known for its architecture in Art Nouveau style. The architecture makes this city different from any other Norwegian city. The colorful houses on the coast, surrounded with fjords, offers the typical landscape, you would expect to see in Scandinavia. It is built on a row of islands extending towards the Atlantic. The compact old city centre is thus surrounded by water and Ålesund is a major fisheries harbour.

Colosseum is the most recognisable of Rome\’s Classical buildings. Built in the 1st century AD, this great arena could seat 50,000 spectators and was the largest Roman amphitheater in the world. The base is a vast ellipse, measuring externally 188 m x 156 m (615 ft x 510 ft). The Amphitheater is built of travertine outside, and of tufa and brick in the interior. The main pedestals were built of marble blocks weighing 5 metric tons It hosted gladiatorial combats, spectacles with wild beasts and possibly the execution of early Christians.

Lighthouses came into existence because ships could not see the rocks and other dangers in the water. A lighthouse is a building or other type of construction designed to emit light from a system of lamps and lenses or, in older times, from a fire and used as an aid to navigation. The most widely used materials are masonry, brick, concrete and steel. The first known lighthouse, the Pharos of Alexandria, Egypt, was completed about 280 B.C. It stood more than 350 feet tall until an earthquake destroyed it in the 1300s.

You should book your wedding date minimum 10 – 12 months in advance. The main wedding season is between May and October. The Golden Hall or The castle chapel is used for weddings and other ceremonies. Wedding ceremony admission is 332,00 €. Bojnice castle standing on a travertine hill above the town. In 1970 the castle was declared a National cultural monument. The first written mention of the castle existence is from 1113. Originally it was the wooden fortress. Fortress was rebuild with stone over the 13th century and than renaissance and gothic style has been rebuilt in Romantism style in 19th century. Every year, the Bojnice Castle organize greatest International Festival of Ghosts and Monsters in April and May. Main idea of festifal has every year a different scary story. During this time a huge number of tourists visit castle, the zoo and Spa in Bojnice.

Ice sculpture is a form of sculpture that uses ice as the raw material. Sculptures from ice can be abstract or realistic and can be functional or purely decorative. Some ice carvers use colored ice blocks produced by adding dyes into the ice, or the combination of clear and colored ice to accomplish a certain effect. Ice sculptures are generally associated with special or extravagant events because of their limited lifetime. The lifetime of a sculpture is determined primarily by the temperature of its environment and thus, a sculpture can last from mere minutes to possibly months. There are several ice festivals held around the world, hosting competitions of ice sculpture carving.
