The National Museum of the United States Air Force is the official museum of the United States Air Force located at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base 6 miles (9.7 km) northeast of Dayton, Ohio. Memorable moments are captured in the museum’s World War II Gallery, which houses one of the world’s top collections of WWII aircraft. The gallery captures the pivotal moments, campaigns and figures of U.S. Army Air Forces’ air power in both the Pacific and European Theaters.

Hours:
The museum is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. seven days a week. The museum is closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day.

Admission to the museum is FREE.
