The New York Transit Museum operates a gallery annex in Grand Central Terminal that presents changing exhibitions. It is a special museum that is below the ground. On the platform level, there are lots of old subways to explore. The museum’s open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. and on Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. until 6 p..m.
