The Bibliothèque-Musée de l’Opéra National de Paris is a library and museum of the Paris Opera and is located in the 9th arrondissement at 8 rue Scribe, Paris, France. The Paris Opera Library-Museum is open daily and an admission fee is charged. Paintings, sculptures, drawings, set and costume models, noted choreographies, photographs, costumes and more, all evoking the history of the Ballet de l’Opéra and its school, its development, great personalities who have left their mark on the company (Jean-Georges Noverre, Filippo and Marie Taglioni, Serge Lifar, George Balanchine, Jerome Robbins, Roland Petit, Maurice Béjart, Merce Cunningham, Carolyn Carlson and Rudolf Nureyev), the introduction of foreign choreographed dancers (Pina Bausch, Trisha Brown, Mats Ek, William Forsythe, Jirí Kylián, John Neumeier, Angelin Preljocaj, etc.)
