The National September 11 Memorial & Museum, designed by architect Michael Arad and landscape architect Peter Walker, is a tribute of remembrance and honor to the nearly 3,000 people killed in the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 and in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing. The names of the nearly 3,000 people who perished in the attack are displayed on bronze parapets surrounding the reflecting pools.

Activists organized protest in Brussels to commemorate the Rana Plaza accident, in which more than 1,300 textile workers died in Bangladesh. The victims’ families and the hundreds of injured workers have still not received anything like adequate compensation.

One of the largest and oldest bullrings in the world, the Ronda bullring is famous for the Romero and Ordoñez dynasties and the museum to bullfighting. The arena has a diameter of 66 metres, surrounded by a passage formed by two rings of stone. There are two layers of seating, each with five raised rows and 136 pillars that make up 68 arches. The Royal Box has a sloping roof covered in Arabic tiles.
