The Grand Bazaar in Istanbul is one of the largest covered markets in the world. It covers 61 streets and 5,000 shops, over 20thousand employees, 4 fountains, 10 wells, 2 mosques, several cafes and restaurants, change offices, a police station, and 22 gates and attracts about 400,000 visitors daily. Bazaar offers beautiful Turkish carpets, glazed tiles and pottery, copper and brassware, apparel made of leather, cotton and wool, meerschaum pipes, alabaster bookends and ashtrays, and all sorts of other things. It holds an area of about 31 thousand square meters. It has one area with only leather clothes, one only with gold, another with only with spicies and so on.

Monday to Saturday between 9:00 – 19:00.
Closed Sundays and bank holidays.
