The Si Satchanalai kilns are one of two ancient kilns inSukhothai province, northern Thailand. One is called the Sukhothai kilns situated at Mueang Kao sub-district, Mueang district there is also the capital of the kingdomof Sukhothai and the kilns dated around 15th to 16th centuries. Another one is called the Si Satchanalai kilns in Si Satchanalaidistrict and dated around 14th to 16th centuries. Si Satchanalai historic sites are located on the banks of the Yom River. The ruins of this ancient town that was formerly called Muang Chaliang. Ruins of 204 monuments out of 215 places have been discovered within the park. Si Satchanalai Historical Park is open daily from 8.00 a.m. – 5.00 p.m. Admission is 40 baht. There is an entry charge for vehicles (10 – 50 baht), and the tram service costs 30 baht.
