The light show paired with music inside of a former rock quarry. The limestone quarry in itself is interesting – add the creative video and audio presentation and you have a unique experience. The projected exhibition is renewed each year with a different theme. This year is Picasso.

Salvation Mountain is a literal man-made mountain 28 years in the making, covered in half a million gallons of latex paint. What started as a small monument made of dirt and painted cement became, over time, a sprawling adobe and hay-bale mountain complex, with peripheral structures made of telephone poles, tires, and car windows, as well as art cars and sculptures. The mountain was created by Leonard Knight after his hot air balloon failed in this bleak patch of desert near the Salton Sea. God, Knight knew, wanted him to continue spreading his message of love in this hostile environment. I strongly encourage anyone who dares to make the pilgrimage to the Salton Sea to stop by and soak in the glorious vibes of Salvation Mountain.

Martinique is one of the most unique destinations in the Caribbean thanks to its French Creole history. The best time to visit Martinique is either May or June, but there is a chance of hurricanes in summer. Capital city is safe and friendly. On one side of Martinique rests the Caribbean Sea, on the other the Atlantic Ocean. Shores offer you sand that is soft and white. Francophiles adore the French island for its gastromony, its music and élan, and the availability of the finest French products.

The Great Wall of China is also known as the wanli changcheng or Long Wall. It is China’s biggest and most popular tourist attraction. It was built from the 3rd century B.C.E to the 17th century AD, in order to prevent the Mongols from entering and invading China. That the Great Wall is a single and continuous wall built as discontinuous segments by various dynasties. It is located in North China and with its length of 3,890 miles (6,260km) is the longest manmade structure in the world. The most visited section is Badaling, over 70 kilometres (43 miles) north of Beijing with 100 million visitors.
