Summer Streets is an annual celebration of New York City’s streets. It provides space for healthy recreation and encourages New Yorkers to use more sustainable forms of transportation. It is a combination of a walking tour, bike tour and block party. Nearly 7 miles along Park Avenue from the Brooklyn Bridge to Central Park is opened to cyclists, walkers and people watchers without interruption from traffic on Saturday Aug. 1, 8 and 15 – 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. There is so much to do: Slide The City, Zip Line, Fitness Classes
