Yellowstone National Park covers more than 2.2 million acres at 63 miles from North to South and 54 miles East to West. It is the home of the Old Faithful Geyser and others. Each year millions of US citizens and foreign travelers enjoy the views and unique hydrothermal features of this park. The Yellowstone region is primarily made up of boreal forests. Mission Santa Barbara is located in Santa Barbara, California, northeast of downtown. Carhenge is a very odd structure located in the sand hills of western Nebraska. It is a beautifully done replica of Stonehenge, Americanized by using cars that have been spray-painted grey to give off the impression they are made of stone. It attracts 100,000 visitors each year. The original sculpture was created in June, 1987 as a memorial to Jim Reinders’ father who once lived on the farm where Carhenge stands.
