The Jungfraujoch is the highest railway station in Europe is located 3,454 metres above sea level. The visitors gain access to a high-Alpine wonderland of ice, snow and rock. Delightful views and stunning stops inside the glacier gallery await you on the 2.5 hour train journey from Interlaken Ost to Europe’s highest railway station. So make sure you plan a trip to Interlaken and discover the Jungfraujoch with its Sphinx observation terrace, the Ice Palace, and the Jungfrau-Aletsch region, part of the UNESCO World Heritage. To travel up to the highest railway station of Europe, you have to pay some extras. The InterRail ticket is only available until the SBB railway station Interlaken Ost. There you have to buy an extra ticket.
